Back To Alaska!

NORTH TO ALASKA

We made it back to Alaska for another series of adventures at the cabin. This year we added on. A lot of hauling and hammering in 8 days. It didn't rain the whole time we were there! PERFECT!

We added two bedrooms and a kitchen.

More than doubled the space we have had.

Lots of work, but it will be worth it.

How did we do it?

First you Haul it.

And haul some more...

Then cut.

TEAM work

Install windows

Add siding and roofing

Then GO FISHING!

Get the shrimp pots...

...And Crab Pots

All that is left to do is eat!

Enjoy the wild life.

AND RELAX!!!!!!

HOW AWESOME! That's like a mini-tour of your whole trip. I love it. The cabin looks GREAT! (Nothing like my mind's-eye had it picutred... but I think my mind's-eye may be blind)

Hmm, nice. But those bears look a bit too close for comfort!

Just to make you feel better, both those bear pictures were taken from our little fishing boat at least fifty feet from the shore. There is no danger of the bears coming that far into the water with out us being able to turn and motor away from them. We have a healthy fear of the beasts and stay close to the cabin door when they are out and about. We do carry bear spray, take precautions to make noise with bells when out in the trees and have a gun on hand just in case. The best way to see these guys is with a really good camera lens.
